Nutrichem was founded in 1977 as a sales company for raw material. Soon also a filling plant for powder products was added. From 1980 we started the production of balanced diets for clinical nutrition, at first in powder, later in liquid form, which became the major subject of the company.

1982 sports nutrition became a new major field of activity with the foundation of the associated company Inko. With own sales organisations in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland, Nutrichem is with Inko active in this market. 1990 Hansepharm GmbH&Co KG was added as another sales organisation.

In the following years, Nutrichem was well established as a service company for a great assortment of products and services for specialized nutritional products. Therefore 1990 a modern production plant was built in the industrial site "An der Lände" in Roth, which was extended 1997 with an additional production area and a modern high bay warehouse.

Also the production facilities were extended continuously. In the beginning only powder products and glass bottles were filled, 1997 a plant for the filling of aseptically filled pouches was added, which was adapted to market demands several times. Today also PET-bottles and drinking ampoules are part of the portfolio and also the production possibilities for powder are constantly modernised.

Over all the years, our high quality level was the most important advantage. It was confirmed with an ISO-certificate in 1996.

Already since 1989 a partnership was started with the Japanese pharmaceutical company SSP Co. Ltd. Tokyo that took over all shares of the company in 2001.

Until today several investments and modernisations were made that were the basis that the high performance could be achieved and even be improved.
